Having issues with your EcoFlow system? Or need a little help speccing out a system appropriately?

EcoFlow Power Kit Issues

The most common issue customers have with an EcoFlow Power Kit is power drain issues: the battery seems to be draining power even when the system is not in use. This can be caused by:

  • Outdated firmware - Update your firmware to the latest versions. To do so, from the Console on the Power Kit, go to Settings > About > Update firmware. You may have to run several updates to get your system updated to the latest versions.
  • Incorrect timeout settings - Timeout settings only apply when there are no active inputs or outputs. Make sure all timeouts (AC timeout, DC timeout, system timeout) are set to 30 minutes. If any of the timeouts are set to Never, the system will never go into full shutdown, only into active or standby mode, and thus will always be consuming power as it communicates with the EcoFlow app.
  • Power Kit hard reset - In some cases, communication or connection issues can be fixed by a hard reset on the Power Hub, which restores system defaults. To do a hard reset:
    • Turn off all active inputs and outputs
    • Power down the system
    • Detach all cables from the Power Hub
    • Leave the system for at least 15 minutes
    • Re-attach all cables to the Power Hub
    • Power the system back up with a 5-second press on the Power Hub, battery or Console power buttons.
